INSURANCE

Drivers:

Only one named person with no more than (3 penalty points) for minor offences e.g. speeding, parking. Is included in hire rate, and must be aged between 25 -70 years. Also have held a full U.K. license for at least 3 years.

Insurance excess:

All motor homes are comprehensively insured for named drivers. This does not cover personal losses and we strongly advise you to take out travel insurance.
An excess of £1000 is payable on day of hire preferably by credit card. In the event of any damage to either the vehicle OR third party property, the hirer will be liable for the first £1000.00. The hirer will also be fully liable for replacement or repair of windows or tyre damage.

Accidents:

Every accident or damage to the vehicle must be reported to Borders motor home hire immediately by telephone and an accident form must be completed at the end of hire.

Breakdown Cover:

In the unlikely event of a breakdown the motor home is covered by ford breakdown.

EXTRAS

Additional Drivers: £5 per day, per driver.
More than 3 points : £5 per day.
Non UK Driver’s license - £3.50 per day.

We provide the following equipment in our Motor homes, TV/DVD Player, Cutlery, crockery, glasses, kettle, saucepans, frying pan, cooking utensils. Cleaning equipment, brush & pan, coat-hangers. Salt & pepper, matches and torch. Water hose and adapter, Hook up cable. Fire extinguisher. First aid kit. Operating instructions. Awning & Bike Rack - up to 3 or 4 bikes. Toilet chemicals.

The following items are available for a very reasonable fee.
